Our Whole Lives (OWL)

The 2022-23 session of OWL is now over. We look forward to the next OWL session in 2024-25!

Our Whole Lives (OWL), helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their relationships, health, and behavior in the context of their faith. It equips participants with accurate, age-appropriate information in six subject areas: human development, relationships, personal skills, sexual behavior, sexual health, and society and culture. It provides facts about anatomy and human development and helps participants clarify their values, build interpersonal skills and understand the social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of sexuality.

Emmaus will be offering OWL for youth in grades 7 through 9. Sessions will begin in September and continue through June. Classes meet twice a month on Sunday evenings 7:00 to 8:30 PM in person. Youth outside of Emmaus will be welcome to participate as well.
